Chimpanzee (2012)

My children were very excited to see this movie, especially the 8 and 5 year old. We took a total of six people to see it, ages 48 – 5 and everyone enjoyed it. I would recommend this to anyone except children under the age of 4. I think they would not only be very bored, they may get a little scared with some of the scenes where the chimps fight and hunt. The Avengers(2012)

I was excited to see this movie months ago when I first saw the trailer. I could not wait for it to come out and I was not dissapointed. I saw it on opening night and I am so glad I did. I love all of the Marvel movies and this was a perfect combination of all of them. I love how they use all the same actors. One thing I hate is when they get new actors to play characters that we already know. Read More

The Hunger Games (2012)

I loved this movie. It was so intense at times that I actually caught myself forgetting to breathe. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and was so engaged I actually cried at least twice that I can remember. I was sad to see this movie end but the ending was satisfying. I definitely plan on buying this when it comes out on dvd and may even consider seeing it again before it leaves the big screen. Read More

What My Husband Doesn't Know (2011)

This is not your typical movie. At first I thought it was going to be bad. I wasn’t expecting it to be a play when I rented it. There is even the sound of the live audience laughing and clapping throughout the movie. I almost turned it off when they started singing. I am not a big fan of musicals. Although I am glad I never turned it off because it was a good movie. Read More

The Lucky One (2012)

If you love romance novels, you will love this movie. There were a few things in this movie that were a little unbelievable. Like the fact that a man who had been touring in Iraq can find a picture of a woman and then walk from Colorado to Indiana to find her without a single clue. I would think he would at least need to know her first name. But of course he did manage to find her and fall in love with her. Read More

Mirror Mirror (2012)

Cute, funny, and a bit scary at times. I took the whole family to this movie . Ages 15 – 5 they all enjoyed it, including me. There were a couple parts where I was worried my 5 year old might get scared but she never did. Although, if you ask her about the movie she says it was good but scary. My 15 year old boy said it was a good movie but a bit girly for his taste. Since this movie is a classic fairy tale, this doesn’t surprise me. Read More
