Description: Scrat's nutty pursuit of the cursed acorn, which he's been after since the dawn of time, has world-changing consequences a continental cataclysm that triggers the greatest adventure of all for Manny, Diego and Sid. In the wake of these upheavals, Sid reunites with his cantankerous Granny, and the herd encounters a ragtag menagerie of seafaring pirates determined to stop them from returning home.
Review: This was a great movie for the entire family. I knew it would be good and it didn’t disappoint. The cast is excellent and does an awesome job of bringing the characters to life. In this movie Manny has to take on the joys of raising a teenager and the adventure of saving his family. Ray Romano is the perfect person to play this role with his humor and wit.
My favorite character is Sid. John Leguizamo does a great job adding humor and dumbness to this little sloth and now with his Granny in the picture, it’s twice the fun.
I would caution taking any child under 5 to this movie. I know of someone with a 4 year old that got nightmares about the pirates. You should use your good judgment based on what your kids can tolerate as the lead pirate is a pretty scary looking monkey with big sharp teeth.
